How quickly can you repair my car?

We pride ourselves on fast turnarounds. Many repairs are completed the same or the next day, and we often book cars in for the very next day when other local garages are weeks behind. We will always be honest with you about timescales when you book in.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes. All of our clutch replacements come with a 1-year or 12,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first, and we only ever fit OE-quality or premium uprated parts so the repair lasts.

Are you cheaper than a main dealer?

In most cases, yes. We deliver main-dealer quality using genuine or premium parts and dealer-level diagnostic equipment, but without the high labour rates and overheads of a franchised dealership. We provide clear quotes for parts and labour up front with no hidden costs.

Do you work on electric and hybrid vehicles?

Yes. Our premises is equipped with the latest tools and diagnostic equipment, which means we can work on electric and hybrid vehicles as well as conventional petrol and diesel cars.

Can you collect my car or recover it if it has broken down?

We offer a local collection service and vehicle recovery across the Ayrshire area. If your car will not start or is stranded, get in touch and we will arrange to recover it to the workshop and get straight into diagnosing the fault.

Do you look after business and fleet vehicles?

We do. We regularly keep vans and business fleets on the road with quick turnarounds, and understand that a vehicle off the road costs you money, so we prioritise getting you moving again.

Absolutely outstanding service from Mechtronic! I recently had the clutch replaced on my Audi A5 and the whole experience was first class from start to finish. The team were friendly, knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the repair. The work was completed quickly and to an incredibly high standard, the car drives perfectly now and feels better than ever. It is hard to find honest, reliable garages these days, but Mechtronic really went above and beyond. Great value for money, excellent customer service and genuine attention to detail. I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy garage in the Kilmarnock area. Easily a 5-star experience!

I urgently needed the clutch/DMF replaced on my Qashqai 1.6DCi, as I needed the vehicle for a long journey. The drive shaft (a known problem with this model which had done over 92k miles on the original clutch) had also seized and had to be replaced. Mechtronic performed the necessary repairs in time for my journey. The service was efficient and friendly.

Called MechTronic in relation to issues with the clutch and gearbox in my Audi S3. The guys arrived to collect the car the next day at my house and I was kept up to date by Diane throughout the process who was so helpful with all my questions. Very quick turn around and now my car is driving like new again. Can’t thank the team enough and highly recommend!

I only found out about this garage recently. My older car needed to replace the clutch. All local garages had minimum waiting time of 2 weeks. But here, my car was booked for repair the very next day. Since, I been there few times. Staff is always very polite and helpful, prices are affordable. I 100% recommend this garage for any repairs and vehicle recovery. Thank you so much for your help!
